Re: DEV nationals?

2) In FTP/Battrick the youth player are worse than their senior counterparts, this isnt always the case in Stumped, meaning dev players appear in NAT squads very often, and makes selection for dev difficult. I think basically have the senior matches & dev matches run at different times. So a de...

Re: Keeping potential

IMO Keepers depend a lot on the composition of your team, if you have a lot of all rounders you can sacrifice the batting ability of your keeper and thus choose one who can catch balls, stump bats and stop byes. Higher keeping is in general a better asset on a keeper than marginally higher batting (...

Re: Transfer Market Action

It's because very good potential - 48+ - isn't available very often, so goes for a lot. This guy is a 46 bat and 50 bowl with some fielding. Even if you only get him moderately close to that, you have a serious talent on your hands. Hell, if he was a 40/50, he'd be worth that money. Don't just look...

I think people are making a big mistake investing so heavily in this player. Been poorly managed to the age of nearly 20 will get nowhere near potential. Crazy.

Re: Ashes

I think the Aussies have got a very good set up if you ask me, as an Englishman I am jealous of the fact you have some people who can actually bat. Granted Khawaja hasn't been great this series but he is generally a decent test batsman, much better than all bar Stokes and Root in the English team, a...

Re: Precocious pops or plops

Couple of questions about precocious skill players: - should I expect a 21 year old player with 3-4 potential remaining in a skill to get some pops, if playing every game and getting training? Any other player I'd say would still get to within 2 points of max potential at that age, but a precocious...

Re: International Games

From general consensus of international managers before this season started - we wanted the world cup to happen, but we also voted for the WC to happen conditionally upon there being some other form of internationals in the season after (potentially a standard T20 tournament). Clearly that plan has ...
