Bit of a scare against Elemental Beasts in Aus 2.2 today but we prevailed to maintain the top spot. We had a fantastic start - Heaybeard and Yaqoob put on 215 for the first wicket, both scoring in the 120s. The follow up wasnt the best with the middle order all going cheaply, and we ended with 332/6...

Huge win for Sri Lanka vs England. De Zilwa made important contributions with ball and ball, constrained their middle order and then propping up the tail with 44*(24) to confirm the win.

From the response I'm not sure that it was clear, so just to confirm - I was joking :D. Puvi is clearly an incredible talent and performs at the top level. My interest in the England team is as an opponent so any changes that weaken it are welcome!

With regards to other selections - I presume you refer to puvimanasinghe as the 30 year old superstar? I don't think I really need to justify his place in the team do I? ummm... yes please question his place in the team, and drop him! :lol: Although you probably have some young monster as a backup....
