Second week in a row FI is in big trouble. Yet again we have a massive expert preview advantage (10k overall) with a massive advantage in bowling and fielding in particular, but my bowlers somehow bled runs leaving a huge 336 target. Fingers crossed but this could be the end of our season already.

I mean we had an even bigger advantage of 15k yet were thumped today

Yep thumped again. Another season in div 2 beckons unless we smash up Carthaginians in a couple of weeks.

Ouch. Very unlucky!

Fortunately for you, we had our own batting woes on Friday as my batsmen failed miserably against GVE. Well played GVE. The Reds maintain their healthy lead at the top of AUS Div.1.

At least your boys had a decent fight back with the bat before collapsing again. Both teams looking to bounce back and should hopefully be a cracker next week against your lads in a title deciding clash, a win for me just about seals it but a win for you and it’s game on. All to play for

Yeah, it'll be an important match - should be very interesting. Good luck.

At this point I would've rather seen us collapse going all-out to maximise our target, not this pushing nonsense as we've wasted the death overs against Tonks. Looking like getting a very skinny score after being well placed at at the 20 over mark. 2-33 off 9 overs...fml I would've rather seen us score 5-33 after 4 trying to go for it at least.
EDIT: Finally some intent, although it's only coming in the last over for whatever reason. Although with Bell off strike after 2 balls, will probably stay at 250 which is defendable at least.
253 works seeing as we tried our best not to get to 250. Over to the bowlers to contain this Tonker's batting line-up which'll sink this in no time or get out trying, which I honestly would've rather seen us do 4-5 overs earlier than this frustating nonsense.

My match today with the Dirty Pete Sanchez Crew is tight. We managed a relatively modest 286 all out, dismissed 2 overs early with lots of batsmen getting a start but noone following through. In reply DPSC is 4/148 off 29 overs, Ridout just took a key wicket dismissing Tranter on 92. Hopefully this exposes the DPSC tail a little, they're definitely on track to get the runs unless we take a few more wickets.
