Friendly SOD Matches

Postby MOD-tonk6464 » Sun Apr 24, 2016 12:04 am

First match back and I'm playing a friendly against one of my main rivals in Aussie SOD Div.1 - Ricky Town.

As expected, both our teams rate lower than before 123Reg inflicted disaster. Ricky Town is also trying out a few talented youngsters.

Ricky Town won the toss and elected to bat on a dryish, medium bouncing pitch with lowish wear. It should be an interesting match.

Pretty happy with that batting effort, am hoping the reset has removed the traumatic experience of season 9's real 2nd half of the season as we threw away a title challenge, nearly got relegated and completely forgot how to bat.

Great batting performance by your team Misch.

Honey was on fire! 118 from 77 balls!

305 should be a tough target to chase.

Yeah, was another of those brilliant Honey innings, still trying to figure out how to get the best from him, he should be winning the odd match by himself.

Has been a good chase so far, Forster stepping up with an important 2 wickets though, if we can get another couple then I think we might sneak it.

You may have just found the answer ;)

It's an interesting chase. Very good batting by Crawford who just got runout frustratingly close to a century (95 from 100 balls). My team needs 87 runs from 66 balls with 6 wickets in hand. It could go either way.

Destructive innings by my two finishers - Yassin and Westbrook got us home. :)

Yassin scored 61 from 42 balls and Westbrook scored 59 n.o. from 30 balls.

Good game Misch - it was close. I look forward to our next one.
