Well on the way to turn over Lochies. There's no substitute for pace.

Thanks ME. Just what I needed to kickstart the year, putting up with this bullshit
http://www.stumpedgame.com/display_comm ... tch=636752
The ball quality numbers make no sense in this game at all. Shelton is a better WS than both of theirs, how is he beaten on a quick pitch by a medium pacer (considering the moisture helps neither of them) and these are perfect batting conditions therefore we crawl at less than four an over on the same pitch they went at 4-5 for their innings?
I mean I can live losing with a 7k ratings advantage and an international level middle order apparently, but this method of losing is ludicrous beyond belief. From this position it's pretty much a foregone conclusion needing 8 an over for the last 17 with only five wickets in hand at the same stage they 30 runs and 2 wickets better off so more or less cruising.
And I know the skill their entire batting line-up. So I know how bullshit this is that such inexperienced bats can outdo mine on such a good batting track.

The bullshit has been reversed now. As the somewhat inexperienced Raubenheimer (hint, more experienced than most of their line-up) is really taking it to any sort of decent deliverly they bowl. 7's? Six. 8's? Six.
We needed 142 runs from 103 balls when he came to the crease to replace Bowden (5-120) then Manzini departed just before the death overs to really nail the coffin shut. Now he has taken the nails out and shoved them up the bowlers asses as the worst batsmen in my top seven is easily outscoring the rest and at a fair better strike rate than anyone else so far.
Then again the strike rate part makes sense due to his skillset.
Oh and Keerthi is now out for more than Sitch and Bowden combined, 27 off a mere 13. Means the tail is well and truly exposed with a handful of runs needed with a good tail clearer bowling.
Thanks to Raubenheimer this game has gone from being a one sided slaughterfest to what might be a nail biter if Bright can get a few here....

I know that if I was on the receiving end of these I would be furious and still am furious we even remotely got to that position to begin with. And the ME decides that my worst, most inexperienced, lop sided bat will decide the entire match really. Oh wait he suddenly forgot how to score as soon as garbage came his way so that means with 7 runs to win Abbas might face up against Bright.
See if the score was a little more evenly spread out without a bat having to score at 142 then I would say this was a good match and I could live with losing despite being in now a near invincible position due to a tail clear bowling to the tail.
2 runs to win, 3 wickets and it's now Afridi (the ever dangerous super slow medium on a quick pitch) to bowl to Abbas. Still a chance to throw the match here.

An absolute nail biter that one! Had the game pretty much iced with the RRR not an issue when Raubenheimer got himself out...then so did Keerthi, Abbas and then Bish got a beauty of a ball to leave Sitch stranded just short of fifty, needing 39 to win and only Aalderik the genuine tail ender to help him out.
End result? Won by a wicket after Aalderik crawled to 14* from 27 balls and Sitch kept scoring briskly enough to finish 74* from 67 balls. They put on forty in the end which is a decent achievement. Aalderik just kept blocking away and Sitch blazed a few boundaries, some quick singles and questionable strike farming by Aalderik were taken but alls well that ends well
Aalderik also dismantled their batting line-up in pretty much a solo effort with the ball, taking 5-36 and removing their top three batsmen and Mahmood for 104! As well as Honey for an important golden. In the end, he took 5 of their top six out (Shelton removed Dirk, Bish got the two other wickets to fall))
