Delighted to see Battersby become a regular fixture in the England set-up, always seems to have been solid (in my biased opinion) and great for him to now get his 1st MoM

From the response I'm not sure that it was clear, so just to confirm - I was joking :D. Puvi is clearly an incredible talent and performs at the top level. My interest in the England team is as an opponent so any changes that weaken it are welcome!

Eventually we lost one.put into bat on a difficult wicket to judge we made a solid 185/4. Probably above par but we wasted some opportunities to get to 200.

In response sri Lanka's started well but lost regular wickets at 120/6. Things looked to be in our favour before mcginty gifted the sri Lanka's 54 runs in 19 balls to register our first loss. The sri lanksn tail did a great job of hitting out against a strong bowling attack. Cant win em all :).

MoM is Aston for his attacking innings
