Grobbelaar is already in the mix so he is on the NT shortlist.

The above is to track future players not on the immediate shortlist. Chucking everyone on there which is what I started ding was turning it into a longlist.

Haven't forgotton him, he was pretty close - there are a few other similar players who I had just above him for now.

He will be back....fast and furious :D

Well the world cup could have gone better but what doesn't kill you make you stronger so they say. So if there is anyone you reckon is cut out for the NT side, time to get them advertised. It should be 2020 this season so the following will help a player's cause:

-Attacking batsmen
-Situational bowlers
-Keepers - probably OK for now but the current guys are getting on a bit so need more options
-Good Fielding and Non-Superstars - both of these were a bit of a problem with the WC squad

Not for this season (especially as it's T20) but Napier is worth getting in soon, despite his age.

2020 internationals are back next weekend ...

If you have a player you think is good enough to make the SA NT, can you let me know asap. Would appreciate if you could reveal their skills as well to make it easier to pull together the squad - its all a bit of a shambles as there was no warning.

Luke Giddings (Player167490) is built for T20s and raring for another run in SA colours.

Spike Napier is surely getting close, though he may not be best suited to T20.

Thanks for reply - he is a bit away though and is naturally behind on experience . We have a lot of superstars which isn't ideal as well.

Seems to be a lack of keepers through the system - the current occupants are both 29 so will need to be replaced in the squad soon. Anyone got any keeping prospects on the way ?
