English cricket season!

Postby rtj45 » Sat Apr 14, 2018 11:52 am

Signed for a new club team, ready to roll for the summer games.

Played an indoor warm up match, we lost by 7 runs!

Took 3/18 in 2 overs though, in which my fellow bowlers got taken for 0/153 in 8 overs...

Then hit 38* in a total of 164/6 (was 8 a side)

Good warm up :).

And so the season concludes. The end of the season always seems a long way away but it comes so quick!

Finished with 290 runs @ 29.00, 21 wickets @ 18.76 and 8 fielding dismissals. My best season by a long way thus far!

Only one piece of silverware for the club as the evening league team won 12/12 to promote from division 3! Quite an achievement. Now time to take a break from cricket and enjoy the winter off before pre-season in March :).
