Alternatives

Let's avoid politics and religion though, they just cause trouble.

I have played them all as well, Stumped to me has a good blend of tactics and simulation. Its fun, though I find little time nowadays to log in daily.

I feel, periodically there has to be some minor changes (not necessarily in ME but may be cosmetic changes) required just to keep users interested all the time. May be once in 6 months some minor additions like introducing jerseys for teams, some changes in the colors of the web page (not sure how much time it takes for Devs to do that). It may give a refreshing feel of new game. May be its a way to retain user base. Just a suggestion.

Just started on Cc. Was missing a FC option, so I'm glad I can get that :)

Yes, that's my main reason for liking it. In the FC games, you also have very detailed settings, which give more control over the captain's decisions.

With the end of season 19 upon us, and not much to do, I thought I would add a postscript to this ... er, post.
Why I prefer Stumped! over all the others:
1) This has been my third season, and I have survived two financial crises thanks to the wonderful team spirit here;
2) The forums are active and interesting, with equal measures of help and banter;
3) For all that we complain about bugs not being fixed, Stumped! is solid and reliable;
4) The match engine is simply the best there is;
5) There is a mass of data available onscreen and to download (and the extras are well worth the membership fee);
6) The 'New format' commentary is concise, yet has all the information needed to visualise the game;
7) Lalith's Short League ... just the best competition I have ever taken part in;
8) The Scouts: I know we moan, but it is truly random and unpredictable, yet can sometimes produce a rough diamond.
Thanks to Rob and Andy for the game, to Tonk for the admin, and to everyone else who helps to make this such a fun place to be :clap: :thumbup:

I'm glad you enjoy playing Stumped Angel. :) I note that the DEVs do most of the admin too - I only do a little bit. ;)
