Groundsman

Anybody got a groundsman they want to sell? I can't afford a high price or high wage.

I'm still looking, if anyone needs to part with a low-wage groundsman.

there's a couple of 30 year olds on the market for now, could take a swing at converting one

Thanks Mike. I looked at those; it's a good Plan B.

Out of interest, is it really worth having a high skill groundsman? That's $6k per week more than I'm paying and I've been pretty happy with my pitch.

pretty sure the answer is no.

It probably depends on your bowling attack. If you have a balanced attack then you probably want to change your pitch quickly to essentially counter the other side's bowling attack in which case you may need a good groundsman.

Otherwise if you set your pitch to suit your own team then a cheap groundsman does the job.
