Same as seamers, they bowl a "quicker one" usualy mid 60s which can potentially generate a higher chance of a wicket but at the sacrifice of a bit of accuracy (and hence a higher economy).

I wasn't under the impression of a cost at accuracy, I thought it was just a higher no-ball chance? Unorthodox action already costs accuracy...

Has a chance of an effort ball which is bowled faster, but less accurately and more likely to be a no ball

From the rules. It is less accurate - but it is only the effort ball that has an accuracy cost, not every ball like in UA. And I assume the cost is minor compared to the positive effect of the effort ball, otherwise the characteristic wouldn't be worth having.

eh erratic is fine, just affects touch. Which I find for the most part to be a tad overrated, as I've had players with great touch perform like shit, and players with shit touch be world beaters. Touch can certainly help some players/teams yeah, but like most things in stumped it's not the be all end all.

Also... May be confirmation bias but feeling erratic 8s more likely to lead to very high rather than very low touch. I see it is as a mildly positive trait.

Possibly the biggest disappointment that I've had with the scouting; this guy was supposed to have an average of 59 with the bat and mid to low 30s with the ball. Oh well, that's the way it goes sometimes (or most of the time).
