Re: Ensuring a 'vote' reminder for NATs

Curious how many votes were cast for the new national managers. I know the DEVs are busy and they flagged that this process would be rushed, but voting completely passed me by. I saw the message but didn't really take note of the timings as not interested in running. It would be great if a simple '...

Re: Transparency in bans/actions being taken

Here’s an idea: what if every new player was “strongly encouraged” to post an introduction in the forums? Might be a way to prove that they are human and not just a clone of another team. Not exactly foolproof but something? Experience suggests that would actually make people just sign up less. Act...

Re: The Slip Cordon; Volume 1

- it would be great to have a link to this from inside the stumped site - I'm sure lots of people who never check the forums would nevertheless be interested to read these. Maybe Rob and Andy could make Diameter an official Chronicler of stumped international games, and provide a link in everyone's...

Re: Team Building

I think a little too much is mad about arbitrary thresholds... the apparently all important 40 skill...

But ignoring unbalanced players for now.
14.00,13.00,13.00 will have a visible skill of 40
14.99,13.99,13.99 will have a visible skill of 40
but will perform essentially as a base 43.

Re: Team Building

Im also giving this a lot of taught and i can only think of two resolutions . The one was already mentioned with a pity pull system if a a team is unable to get a player of value for a set amount of time . This doesn't really affect anything accept helping teams that is not getting pulls and gettin...

Re: Team Building

Rob , thank you for the engagement. I wish I did more, I genuinely want to... but when you do your real job from the laptop on desk in the dining room. The idea of spending my down time in the same place on the same computer, isn't appealing (and when I do it, it feels like there's no escape... not...

Re: Team Building

Even I tend to agree... luck certainly can be a major factor. If anyone has a really good idea to limit that, but without "prescribed pulls" (which wouldn't be a good thing) or changing the overall balance of quality - I would absolutely love to hear it (but be prepared to have it rejected...
