The team he is currently with were formed on the 5th April so this player was part of the squad he/she inherited.

As part of future plans for my teams, Astronomy Domine and Cow Corner have listed five and four players respectively. All players are potential 41-43 so should suit new teams or franchises.

When you first start playing Stumped and get a team, your club's players are automatically generated, with a variety of ages, skills and potentials. This guy was one of those generated players - with a really high potential but unfortunately his age at 24 is too old to ever go close to reaching it. If the random number generator had spat out an age of 18 instead, this lucky new team would have earned millions selling him.

Oh come on :( . People really are desperate for 3D players in any shape or form . I thought that even my initial offer price of 350k was a stretch considering this guy is 34 skilled with the ball and 35 with the bat even with his godly fielding and stamina, but I thought that at max he’d be 500k.

From my short time on this game I think that $600k is a very fair price for a player like that. He can bat, field and bowl to a good standard standard, and is inclined towards swing bowling meaning that his bowling is better than it seems. Personally I can see him going up to a million dollars as jack-of-all trades players like that seem very far and few between.

On a side note, I’ve found young all-rounders with decent fielding potentials hard to get on the market so I’ve tried to make up for it by insisting on high fielding standards for as many of my bowlers as possible. 5 of my bowlers have fielding potentials of 20, 20, 19, 18 and 13 with the lowest being 10 (but this one is going to be a fantastic bowler so he makes up for it). I have maybe 3 batsmen with about 15 fielding pot each but have found that generally batsmen and all-rounders are harder to find good fielders among.

Honestly surprised he is 600k. I think 350k - 500k was fair given the current market environment. There is a lot of teams in the 50-60k bracket who are looking to improve their teams and so the normal mid to high 30s players are going for a lot more than usual. Literally the only reason I am holding on to Blackadder is that there is no one better for a reasonable price and he does a job.

For me, the crazy thing is that he ever sold to cheap. He's was an formidable opponent and won titles in England division 1. I think there are less people now valuing players by just adding up the skills and more who understand that if a bowler has great stamina, plus accuracy and movement, the variation doesn't really matter.
