The selling team is an affiliate that is being disbanded, so he put his players up for offer recently. Someone else thought a couple were worth buying.

That’s my franchise that I’m disbanding at the end of the season. I opened up the whole squad and have been asked to list quite a few. The money won’t be spent on any other players, they’ve been listed at $0 starting price and there’s nothing going on with the transfers, I.e. I’ve not spoken to anyone about what money they should bid. If I was fixing the price I’d have listed them with a higher price.

Yeah your transfer there look dodgey but they're all above board (not like you have anything to gain here anyway as the money is just disappearing into the void anyway), just some whack money choices it seems from the buyers end lol

I would say I don't recommend anyone ever spend that much money on average players but that goes without saying. Headscratcher transfers I guess is what I'm trying to say lol

Suppose the question is why didn't you play him for a year.

This kind of player is funny in most teams will value him as nothing but someone might see him as a project. It's possible if he was listed higher someone might have seen him. Nowadays I usually sort by price and don't bother looking at the 1k guys

i can answer that question, i trained him for a year, not realising you needed to play these guys as well in order to see improvement haha

i have wasted 3-4 guys careers by not playing them enough in my youth team

that 250k would have been very handy with my debt, and players leaving every week for 1k, so i guess i'm just very annoyed by it
