I've sat on this pull since scout day pondering my options. He has the makings of a superb player, and one of the best in my team. That said I'm not sure I can be bothered to go through the training & reshuffle my current squad to accommodate..

Would like to hear other people's thoughts, on the value of this player.

That's not Jimmy Anderson. This guy can bat. :P Seriously though, a very good potential young allrounder there.

I'd pay 500,000 as a starting point and seriously consider going a lot higher, probably with my affiliate.

I didnt know anderson was a spinner :D

Definitely top class , what does hurt him a bit is firstly low stam for a top class all rounder is going to make his development tough .

Secondly very low starting skills means he will take a lot of effort and time to get to that point , i doubt you will get top top end money , best option maybe put him on offer for a good amount your willing to take and get interest .

If i look at the transfer market recently , there is only one player that was close to yours maybe a bit better , another English all rounder . 43 pot bat 46 pot bowler also 10 stam like yours and low starting 3/1/3 in bat and 6/3/2 in bowl , he went for 1 Mil . Your fielding is better by more than double . Also yours have incredible secondaries for a spin bowler .

Hope this helps .

Thanks for the feedback all, much appreciated. On the comparison to RL Jimmy, I did say in another lifetime, probably a multiverse scenario!

I'll ponder what to do with him. His class is obvious, and the fact he has a great name helps, it's just going through the time to train. I'm probably leaning towards selling. That said, I'm sorely lacking a top spinner.. and one that can bat is a big bonus.

The last nineteen youths have been sent straight to the glue factory but today's might linger as he has some intriguing potentials. No useful characteristics, unfortunately.

46 potential bowling, with Iceman and effort bowler traits. Shame he’s only a medium. What do you guys reckon? Would he sell for a decent amount, or better to keep and train?

I mean, the question is, and always will be, which is more useful to you? He'll be a very decent end of innings/T20 bowler, his accuracy is only 8 off pot so you can definitely put some pace training into him. The question is, do you already have a couple of similar players who are better - in which case, the money is more use to you, or are you stuck looking for a seamer who can bowl the end of innings, in which case, keep him.

I would keep and train him. He will be very handy.

Only reason to sell is if you have already have young bowlers that are as good or better than him to train.
