Poor SA Ducks ... rotated a bit after the cup so not much batting in the line up. Really should have bowled first. Sorry.

I feel the very same about T20 . I won 8 old SA OD div 1 titles compared to 1 T20 div 1 title . Russ Mason had a match winning knock and salvaged a average start for your team .

With the total of 164 , i did feel it should be a comfortable chase , run outs on Mark Rumble and Johannes Opperman IMO was key to the failure of my chase .

Last season Fouche was a under performer and this season im forced to rest him due to his great performances living up to his trained skill and huge stamina , on the other end my 45 trained pinch hitter in Mark Rumble is not off to a great start , for a 18/11/16 trained bat i would've expected him to take to t20 like a duck to water however 21 average and only one 50 in 36 innings is worrying . Still young so hopefully will produce at some point .

Will take the bonus point and fight to remain in div 1 this season on t20 while you off to a great start .

I've found experience to be very important in Stumped, especially in T20, when a couple of quick wickets can leave you in a bad situation. It's why I bought Kakkad before, to shore up my middle order so if I lost 3 of my top 4 cheaply, I had 2 experienced middle order bats to steady the ship.

Now, without him, I tend to blow hot and cold in those middle orders, hence relying on Mason's batting a bit more than I'd like in recent times.

Thats why i have guys like Martinus , Barker , Botha and Tennison , i value experience very highly as well . I try and make my teams as balanced as possible . None of the guys that play senior side is under 10 experience . I start blood letting future first 11s when they hit that experience marker .

I have a good mix between youngsters coming in and old veterans ending their career this season . In the past these seasons were some of my most successful .

The pitch was high wear and you both seemingly went way too aggressive and it ended up being a weird old match.

How's Stratton developed, btw? I liked the idea of him more than the reality and just couldn't give him the gametime he'd have needed.

MAS of 123 and aggression of 5,4,6,5,5 for my top 5.

Stratton's got a batting average of 98.50 this season so not too bad :D 22 with the bat, 32 with the ball but only single digits between the ears (exp). He's missed too many DEV games so he's not where he should be but he'll do alright for me for the next few seasons and I should be able to recoup my massive investment of 3k.
