Free HK v All In The Wrists

All In the Wrists 249/9
Free HK 173 ao

AITW win by 76 runs.

http://www.stumpedgame.com/Scorecard.php?Match=1249225

Both teams used 10 bowlers, no-one bowled more than 5 overs. Somehow, my 3 main bowlers took no wickets at all between them, and every other bowler, including the part-timers/no-timers snuck a wicket each! Good game though.

I watched this game. Impressed that Zorax sent his bowlers in for spells of 1, 2, 3 overs at a time, rather than just having 5 each!

notch up another loss for playing a team full of bits and pieces allrounders. If there was any game it should have worked for, it was this!

Similar case here. Two contrasting strategies: I stacked the lineup with allrounders and some bowlers who could bat, while Durham Elite gambled on bowling some batsmen at the end of the innings. Felt I'd given myself a chance with 20 overs left: 7 an over needed, wickets in hand and mostly terrible bowlers to come, but a couple of run-outs and some unlucky wickets made the difference in the end. Frustrating that we were undone in both this and the Crazy Lose game by horrible bowlers having a day in the sun, but ah well, it happens.

Good luck in the semis, Xmarra!
