The Birmingham Blasters edged out Calgary Beer Guzzlers in a close encounter on Tuesday. The Guzzlers batted first and made a respectable 199 on a very worn wicket. Pick of the batsman was Rees for a well made 62 and Dukada took 2/18 in bowler friendly conditions.

The Blasters got themselves in all sorts of trouble early doors but the ever reliant Dukada imperiously smashed 62 from 47 balls including a six to finish the game and take the Blasters to the final.

Marvellous Effort That are currently entertaining the Talking Heads, an all Aussie affiliate affair of Tonkers v DPSC.

I'll try and arrange the final for a neutral venue courtesy of some play from the Devs once the participants are known .

Final has been arranged for Sunday. Best of luck to both teams!

Both teams have already met in South African T20 3.3.

1st match was a 6 wicket win for Bashers.

Marvelous made 131-8 with Chamath Abeygunawardena top scoring with 56.The wickets were shared about but Tashinga Dukada took 2-17.
Bashers chased it down with 14 balls to spare. Tyrone Deverell carrying his bat with 71.

In the return fixture, Bashers batted first and were bowled out for 135 off 18.2 overs. Gareth Loader top scored by carrying his bat for 53 and Bobby Clark made 34. Daryl Wrigley took 4-20 and Howard Murray took 3-12.
Marvelous chased it down with 3 wickets in hand and 11 balls to spare. Hassan Saqlain and Vivian Wyatt made a solid opening stand making 43 and 32 respectively setting up the win. Ed Hirons took 4-34.

Should be a close game.

Yeah, it's a close contest for the title in our South African T20 league. It should be an interesting final two weeks.
