Play him in as many games as you can, and train batting psychology for a long time, at least until all 3 skills are double digits. Then depending on how he's shaping up, you may need to move to attacking bat training.

I would be training him on attacking batting straight away - that skill/potential gap is far greater and it will also make his natural batting style more aggressive.

A nit of a pity he has the base minimum stamina and fielding, but those high batting skills and late bloomer is a lethal combination. He'll be one of the best pure batsmen in Stumped at his peak and will stay on that level for a long time.
