Hi all

Squad is locked in.

Either YVRK or myself will comment on the squad once we have time.

However, if there's any questions regarding it then just post.

Also would like to welcome Garthmaul to the team.

Thanks. He was very much on our shortlist but we do have enough bowlers with terrible fielding, and he takes the biscuit. lol

He is definitely on the reserve list but we already have 4 fast bowlers in the squad.

Yeah, him Mncwabe and bernstein run competitions to see who can drop most catches per game

I thought 6 was the minimum fielding potential it was possible to have, like 10 is the minimum stamina potential.

Also, are players with really high primary skill potentials predisposed to have low fielding potential? It seems a lot of the top batsmen and bowlers have low fielding potential.

If someone is generated in a starting squad, they can have as low as like 1 fielding pot or something crazy. I think stam is still minimum 10 but the fielding can be uh questionable.

Very good squad balance taking into consideration what i know .
Two surprise selection for me however almost sure wont see much game time.
This is probably the best team on paper South Africa has ever delivered .
Really looking forward too watching Mncwabe,Fouche,Richmond,De Kock,Rumble and Bernstein play and their performances on National level .

Welcome YVRK and Garthmaul to the national scene i know both of you will be great assets for Lightning .

Some interesting exclusions and a good amount of debutantes . Are you guys going to do a squad announcement here to introduce some of the new players and acknowledge some exclusions ?
