We are off to a a nice start, with a bonus point win over Bangladesh. Things werent looking so good when Hoshi & Wij both were run out for 0!
Sahan and the experience Jacobs put us on back on track and set Bangladesh a target of 118.

Bangladesh got off to a steady start, with first wicket taken by debutant Eberhadie. Buddhiki then took two crucial wickets on one over and that put us on top. From t his point our bowlers took over, Prabath taking 3 wickets, and then Shanaka cleaning up the tail!

3 Points: Sahan for his crucial knock of 46 in tough conditions.
2 Points: Shanaka for finishing it off and not letting it drag on with his best bowling of 4/7
1 Points: Buddhiki for 2 early crucial wickets

Another win in conditions much better than the first game!

We won the toss and batted first with, Wij & Jacobs opening the batting. The experienced Jacobs fell in the 3rd thanks to a brilliant catch by Donaldson. Hoshi and Wij put on a partnership, but no one really got going until Chathura came to the crease. He hit 3 sixes and a boundary to quickly score 33 of 17 balls. Some handy contributions by the later/tail order got us to a defendable total of 132.

Windies have a young but talented squad, so anything was possible. They got of to a good start with the 1st wicket falling at 1/44 after 6 overs. From her our bowlers were on top and the pressure was on the West Indian batsmen. Droz pickup up another wicket and Shanaka got a run out, all of sudden the Windies were 3/50! Asela nearly got a hattrick on debut! Our bowlers were too good, getting the Windies all out for 78.

3 Points: Droz for 4/18 was all over the West Indians
2 Points: Chathura for his quickfire 30
1 Points: Asela for an all round debutant performance 14 with the bat and 2/20

1st loss against India.

India are probably the strongest team currently in the game. Beating them was always going to very difficult, however things started really well for us. India won the toss and batted first in good batting conditions. Budhhika with the new ball took 2 wickets in first over and the skipper got another wicket in the 6th. We couldn't have asked for a better start! Unfortunately for us Sukanya was in superb form and took our bowlers apart, scoring 79 of 39 balls. India scored 186 of their 20 overs. A big task for our batsmen against the best bowling attack.

We got of to good start with Jacobs and Wij opening the batting. Devrat bowled superbly and our middle order couldnt handle him. Lahiru put up a fight but unfortunately the total was too high for us to chase down. We ended with 153.

3 points: Buddhika for his brilliant bowling 2/25
2 points: Shanaka De Moree for taking crucial wicket of Haroon
1 point: Lahiru for his quickfire 36 of 17 balls.
