So we beat one of the finalists and lost by just 5 runs to the other one

Nat cricket is a cruel game ;)

Finally, an ODI final which isn't England vs Australia. Thanks Zimbabwe!

Great semi finals, hopefully the final will be cracking :)

Congrats to Zimbabwe and Australia for making the final. Hope it's a great match.

The England players had a good tournament overall and there was much to be positive about. The intensive format meant we used a huge number of players and none of them were poor, whilst some had incredible records. In the Semi-final, we posted an excellent total on a very slow pitch, but were undone in the end by an exceptional performance from an exceptional player. For play to Zimbabwe on an great win.

Gentle reminder that we're still waiting on the final for last season's nats. Would be great to start this season nats soon too!

Out of interest, is last season's nat final going to happen?

I would expect so. Just waiting for a DEV to set it up.

Been with the Zim nat set up since day one and gotta say, the final on Saturday was definitely the highlight. To think we would beat England in the semis then Aus in the final, the two most successful teams, just made it all the more special. Well played Australia and tonks, thought 300 was a good total considering the bowling you possess but Gasela played the innings of his life as did Mbuli to get us over the line in the end.

Now hopefully Gasela can bring some of that form to club level this season!
