Lower order got us out of a bit of a hole today. Jupp was a hero with 33 from 12 balls followed by 6 wickets with his poker faced variations.

Key game next week v ProC. A win would pretty much clinch the title, a loss with a BP would keep us narrowly ahead. Both of us have a cup game on Sunday which may complicate selection.

My Dev boys might stay up in Div 1, but the two senior sides are on their way down. Outside chance of surviving in the OD if we can string together a few wins. T20 has been a disaster this season.

These results make sense given we're a side in transition. My youngsters are good and have done a decent job in Dev, but they aren't quite ready to carry the senior side forward yet.

Wonder how hard it will be to promote back up.
