A crazily close game agains KryptoKnights: https://www.stumpedgame.com/display_com ... ch=1493439

7 needed from 18 with 3 wickets in hand, but I somehow managed to scrape a win. Unlucky Krypto!

Thnx bud, great game and congrats on the win, these games always seem to go against me however part of the top leugues, this one hurts a bit more as the 4 points would've gone a long way in securing div 1 spot for next season. Anyway your a great team a well deserved win.

We secured our first ever win against Los Galactico today by 35 runs. Solid contributions to the score of 280 by Miller, Torquil, Hitendra, Ansar, Blackwell and Peake - none got half tons but still played good knocks at a good tempo. It was a brilliant effort in the field with 4 runouts coupled with 3 wickets for Jarvis, two for Dawson and one for Ruchir which restricted the chasing team and eventually bowled them out. That makes 7 wins and moves us to 2nd on the table :D

Woody’s Wolverines and Perry Pirates managed wins against Barnstoneworth and Weymouth respectively though both losing teams fought quite hard too. Samurai XI have managed to upset Basco not just once, but twice this season. Today they got bowled out for 180 on what looked like a flat pitch. Yet a superhuman bowling effort led by young New Zealand seamer Wilcox’s 3/7 off 5 overs saw one of the favourites for Div 1 promotion get bowled out for only 86!

Dunno but we needed them. Good score of 300 but was in real danger of being chased down. 4/5 were bullet arm.

Bullet arm is my favourite trait. Late developer is probably 'better' but love a free wicket from a bullet arm.

The Euro Africa t20 div 1 league has built up to a exciting final with some very tight and crucial games being played as the very last match of the season . Number 1 Chester Ducks on 50 points is playing number 2 All In The Wrists on 45 points . Mike needs just a bonus point to add another trophy to the cabinet however Jammycarrot can pull this one out of nowhere if he is able to get full points from the game due to having a better NRR .

Number 3 The Stiffs and Number 4 Pro Crastinators are both on 38 points and the winner will get the bronze medal in another winner takes all clash is for relegation with Number 5 West Row Wyverns taking on number 6 KryptoKnights also tied on points with 30 points each . Some crucial matches and high stakes today .

Good luck to all involved and may it be entertaining .

Edit

At the half way point the gauntlet has been set . Chester Ducks set the lowest score of the big three matches at a reasonable however very get-able 154 . Pro is chasing a mammoth 227 as The Stiffs top order came good and Pro certainly has the batters to chase it down however the odds is against it . West Row scored a decent 173 and should be a very close game on a decent wicket .West row should have been able to score closer to 190 with the start they got however was restricted well , anyone's game that . The question now is will All in The Wrists be able to get that bonus point win , Is Pro incredible batsman able to chase what would be a one hell of a spectacle if done , and its anyone's guess with 20 overs left who will be relegated..

2nd Edit .

Chester Ducks and Mike has won the T20 season , they have lost the last match however the bonus point was enough , may i be the first to congratulate you .Jammycarrot will have great momentum heading into next season with a great result in one of the toughest t20 leagues on stumped . Great season and well done to both . Pro seems to have handed the 3rd place to The stiffs however was still a good game to watch . Congratulations to Twods who has become a nightmare to face in T20 , congrats on your podium .

I had several strokes in the game against West Row with having flash backs of a recent tied match . Didn't matter who won that game the one relegated would have felt hard done by the season . Bad luck rtj45 im sure you will be back in a season with vengeance .

Congrats Mike on another T20 win! And KryptoKnights on staying up!

Hoping to be able to make a more sustained bid for the title next season, my challenge completely fell apart in the second half after a good start.

Indeed, deserved congratulations to Chester - we were hoping to cause a last-day turn around but couldn't manage it. Batting second is always more difficult to get the bonus point I find so losing the toss was a blow straight out of the gate. But, the positives are there, it's a highest ever finish for the Wristies, just have to go one step further next season!
