Northdown look like they'll win and get the bonus point against Gaukrodger; they've almost got 300 runs already and there's 10 overs to go. My lot started quite poorly against Peckham but 113 for Stokes and 84 not out have turned things in our favour; we're 262/4 with 9 overs left. So we might do our job but still won't manage to overtake Northdown.

At least we managed to take the T20 title.

I've never been in any leagues as competitive as our current SOD and T20. Both are wide open, and though I'm near the front, I'm on the edge of my seat every game, with nothing for certain.

In other words, I think the region change has been good for us!

Americas Dev league is exactly the same. Several clubs all within points of each other and no clear run away superior side. Every game week is crucial. The region change has vastly improved competition and as a result the game. How anybody could suggest more competition is a bad thing is beyond me.
Leading the Woodpeckers (main) and Wolverines (affiliate) nowhere fast.

Big games yesterday.

All the top 4 teams played each other, both 1st and 2and place were defeated. They retain top spots but oh my this league is close now.

3 games to go and any of the top 4 could easily win!

You were very unlucky to lose that; Yarnton never usually scores many runs and that 23 not out was his highest score.

Grrr I let Northdown score 300 against me which my batsmen couldn't match. Now they're top of the table.
That was my chance to bury them for this season and my bowlers blew it!!

Going to be a tense season end.
